About this event

A resume is often the first impression that you will make with an employer. On average, employers initially look at resumes for 10–20 seconds, so you've got to knock 'em out with a great document. The interview is your opportunity to make your first face-to-face impression on the job search. Employers want to know three key things: 1. Can you do the job? 2. Will you do the job? and 3. Will you fit in with the organization? Your job is to provide enough solid information for the interviewer to answer an unequivocal "YES!" to all three of these questions.

Join us for an evening on tips and tricks on navigating the often anxiety-inducing job hunt with Career Coach, Katherine Nobles. Attendees will learn what recruiters and hiring managers are looking for when it comes to hiring along with interview do’s and don’ts. In addition, students will pair up for resume review and interview prep.

Please come with a copy of your resume. Also, you should have a LinkedIn profile and device on which you can edit it.
