The 'Agile' movement has started to gain mainstream recognition over the last few years, moving out of a primarily software focused domain and into that of product management and organisational change. Put simply, it is a new way of doing work, and its focus on collaboration, customer value and adapting to change have made it a popular and effective alternative to the traditional, sequential ways of working. General Assembly and the Agile Hong Kong Meetup group are hosting an un-conference/open space event on Agile. You and members of the Agile Hong Kong community will drive the agenda and discussion.

Whether you want to learn the core principles and basic concepts, compare Scrum or Kanban methods, dive deep into DevOps or product management, any topic is up for discussion. Feel free to come prepared with a Powerpoint, a video, finger puppets, or even just a simple idea or question you wish to explore with others.

If you haven't been to an un-conference or open space before (more info here), then this will be a great introduction to the world of self-organisation and collaboration - and if you have been before, then you know that you'll certainly come away from the night learning about something you could never have predicted.

Prereqs & Preparation

There are no pre-requisites required, come ready to learn or discuss. It would be beneficial to prepare a topic or question to move the discussion forward and keep the evening engaging.
