About this event

16.5 million Americans worked in “contingent” or “alternative arrangements” in 2018, according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report. That number will continue to grow as people look for ways to make more money from their side hustles and leave their 9-to-5s behind.

It’s tricky though — turning your gigs into a full-time career. But with commitment, collaboration and courage, you can do what you love for a living.

Each Friday this summer, we will be highlighting a different aspect of the Freelancing Business.

Event attendees will have access to the Common Room space at General Assembly to network and work on personal projects as needed for the remainder of the day.
