Join us for a conversation with David Lee, the former Managing Partner of SV Angel, one of Silicon Valley’s most prolific seed investors. Hear insights from one of Silicon Valley’s true insiders and learn about what it takes to fund and build a world-changing startup.
From his vantage point as an early investor in Twitter, Dropbox and Airbnb while at SV Angel, David will speak to the GA community about what seemed to make these startups tick. Having moved recently to Los Angeles, David will also speak about the opportunities he finds interesting in the LA tech startup scene.
The Fireside Chat will be moderated by Hamilton Chan, whose Y Combinator-funded startup was bolstered early on by a seed investment from David and SV Angel. Hamilton is the GA Instructor for: Business Fundamentals and Tactics; Sales & Business Development Immersive; and Negotiation Workshop. Hamilton’s latest project is a free iPhone/Apple Watch app called Asker, which attendees can use during the Fireside Chat to ask questions.
