Over two live, three-hour sessions, you’ll learn why Excel is the leading tool — and how to use it — to enhance the way you analyze and restructure your data.
We’ll start with the basics of exploratory data analysis (EDA) to familiarize yourself with a dataset, and how to apply Excel formulas and best practices to clean a dataset and get it ready for analysis.
From there we’ll get into the actual analysis using references and ranges to manipulate the data, connecting data from multiple spreadsheets with popular functions like LOOKUP and creating PivotTables to quickly summarize your data. And what analysis is complete without some basic visualization? You’ll get hands-on practice with charts and conditional formatting to make your analysis easy to interpret.
By the end of this workshop, you’ll be equipped with the tools and knowledge to ask — and answer — the right questions of your data in Excel. You might even be inspired to pursue a career in data analytics with your new skills.
Please Note: Registration for this workshop will close 24 hours before the scheduled start date.
