About this workshop series

The need for digital marketing technologists who know marketing and know the tools of the trade is at an all time high. In one brain-melting week of doing, you’ll build a WordPress site from scratch, create compelling content, drive traffic with social posts and ads, and see everything in Google Analytics.

The 5-day DGM Camp class is based on and organized by (a) setting up a digital property for marketing and (b) testing, running, tracking, and measuring digital marketing campaigns through the property. Each day will begin promptly at 9AM and end at 5PM. There will be work to be done each evening to review that day’s learning and prepare for the following day. You will build a WordPress website from scratch, connect that site to Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and a Hubspot CRM, create multiple campaign landing pages, execute social media marketing and Adwords advertising tests, automate the capture of leads through Mailchimp and web forms into the CRM, and measure the entire experience using social analytics and Google Analytics.

  • GOOGLE ANALYTICS: From setup to campaign tracking, dashboards to smart goals, segments to social tracking, you'll be immersed in Google Analytics.
  • SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING & ADS: Learn social media best practices and strategies and create highly targeted ads on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • EMAIL MARKETING & AUTOMATION: Integrate your website and CRM with Mailchimp, and automate with Zapier to build an audience and capture leads.
