About this class

**Please note this class will run at our new campus, 56-58 York St, Sydney**

Do you want to create the next Snapchat or Tinder? I can’t promise that, but I can say that this class will help you improve your own product or service. This class will be an immersive, hands-on look at how to design and test a great user experience. I’ll teach you the design thinking techniques I learned while working in product development at Google, helping answer questions such as:

  • Why do people use certain products instead of others?
  • How can you uncover user pain points through UX research?
  • What are the basics of a good user experience?
  • What makes products go viral?
  • Takeaways

  • Design thinking techniques to rapidly improve your own product or idea
  • Psychological frameworks to evaluate your own user experience
  • How to conduct simple user research studies
  • Research-driven insights to help make your product more popular
  • Prereqs & Preparation

If you’d like, please bring a product that you’d like feedback on. If it is a mobile app, bring your phone. If it is a website, bring your laptop, etc. If you don’t feel comfortable sharing your idea, that’s perfectly fine too.
