The continual intake and exhaust of data are determining how products behave and what new classes of products are possible. Machine learning models automatically adapt products to users’ preferences, make recommendations about next actions, and suggest future features and products. Data product managers needs understand this and incorporate it into their products.

David Wang is a seasoned Product Manager who has spent the last 10 years working across different industries from telco, fintech, e-commerce to brick and mortar retail. David is an advocate of the Lean Product Management process and a practitioner of the Outcome-Driven-Innovation (ODI) process. He takes out the guess work from new product development and systematically learn from customers to maximise its success in the market.
From startups like Airtasker and Tyro to corporates like CBA, Vodafone & Westfield; David has a tomb of knowledge to share from developing digital products to managing physical spaces. He also has a few stealthy projects in the AI and travel space which he can speak to you about over donuts and coffee.
