About This Event

Calling all professionals looking to make a transition or pivot in their career! General Assembly and Career Organic are joining forces to provide you with the tools needed to craft an outstanding resume and professional narrative. In this workshop, Briar Dougherty will take you through the layout, formatting, content, and positioning of a well-polished, targeted resume needed to make a transition in today's market.

Preparation

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer as well as a strong internet connection. Please make sure to download the Zoom app to ensure there are no connectivity issues.

  • Registrants will receive the Zoom link via email, in the confirmation email and in the 24-hour reminder email from General Assembly.

Briar is the Founder & CEO of Career Organic, a professional development company focused on one on one coaching, candidate branding and bios, and group coaching for professionals across multiple life stages. Over the last two decades, she has been supporting a global clientele of professionals and entrepreneurs in navigating life and career complexities, preparing for transitions, and identifying opportunities for advancement in their lives, careers and businesses. After a decade of successfully navigating her career in New York City, Briar ventured to Metro Atlanta. In her corporate career she specialized in regional business growth and talent development, acquisitions, startup business strategy, and executive team building. Briar is passionate about giving back to her community and is the Chief Operating Officer for The Ovie Mughelli Foundation, an Atlanta-based 501c-3 non-profit.
