User Experience Designers are one of the hottest properties in technology. Skills are in high demand and a lack of skilled professionals is driving salaries and consultancy fees higher than ever before. A recent article in Computerworld referenced that between 2010 and 2011, a UX specialist recruitment firm saw a 25% increase in the number of requests for UX designers; between 2011 and 2012, the increase was 70%.
In this special edition Career Fast Track class, we will cover the steps that you need to take to get into the User Experience Design industry, what you can expect to be paid throughout your career and key areas of growth within the industry.
Following the class, General Assembly Education Producers will be on hand to offer career guidance and offer tips on how to plot your future career.
This class has no pre-requisites, even if you have never seen a wireframe before and are just curious about whether UX as a career is the right fit for you, this class will still be extremely useful.
