About this class

Live streaming is quickly becoming the preferred method for audiences to engage with a brand. Consistent and clear storylines keep your audience engaged and build solid relationships with your customers.

Facebook Live and live streaming content is dominating the social media feeds. The appeal of this form of content production the ability to interactively share the your personal experience with other viewers. The currently live streaming content is outstripping video and the trend is only going to continue as new gear and software packages allow for sophisticated interactions.

We will explore why this medium is experiencing such a huge growth curve in a presentation explore statics and case studies. The presentation will also explore some examples of engaging and powerful streaming events from the last year.

The second half of the class is a hands on experience we will create live interactive content. Participants will work in small teams to create a narrative for a live broadcast and then share it using a dummy Facebook page created for this class.

Prereqs & Preparation

Students need to have a Facebook account, a smart phone and Facebook Pages App downloaded and properly installed.
