Effective teamwork is a cornerstone of successful operations at any company. Using ideas from project management, Agile and sports management, we will cover best practices for building and leading your team.
This workshop will first address team set-up, thinking carefully about team design, structure and environment. We’ll then dive into team dynamics, exploring how to maintain a positive attitude within the team and how to address communication breakdowns. Finally we’ll wrap with an eye towards continuous process improvement. You’ll leave with a whole toolkit of strategies to get the most out of your team!
Please come to class with an example for a specific team that you are looking to manage. Laptop optional.
