For those starting their own business, building a product or simply looking to understand the importance of a strong brand, this workshop will provide you with the foundation to understand how creating a differentiated brand is fundamental to success. More than a marketing campaign, a brand fuels product development, customer acquisition, employee hiring and strategic partnerships. It tells you what to do and what not to do. By understanding the inputs for crafting a baseline brand strategy, you will dramatically improve your ability to develop a unique brand or product with a clear sense of mission and message.

Please come with a laptop or notebook/pen. Students will gain the most from this workshop if they have a current product or business that they are actively developing a brand or user experience around. Students can prepare themselves for this workshop by thinking about the unique needs of the product’s target audience, the baseline for this product (or organization) to succeed in the marketplace and their own passion for the product or business vision.
