About this workshop

It’s predicted that demand for data scientists will grow 36% from 2021 to 2031, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. If you’ve been considering a career in data science, that’s a pretty promising stat.

Join us for a free, 2-hour class, to get hands-on practice with the basics of Data Science and see if you’ve got what it takes to become a data scientist yourself.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of data science and how different industries are applying its predictive power to improve their bottom line. Then, get hands-on practice with predictive models using a real-world dataset. Bonus: there will be time at the end for live Q&A with the instructor.

We’ll see you in class.

Takeaways

You’ll leave this class with:

  • An understanding of what data science is and some of its broader industry applications
  • Basic knowledge of the differences between supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
  • Practice with quantitative, data-driven analysis
  • Confidence to continue learning data science
