About this event

We all need money to pay the bills, support our community and create our dream lifestyle. To make, you need to confidently ask for a rate or salary that reflects your incredible value, and control how you influence and show up in your relationships with stakeholders. If asking for what you deserve and need in business scares you, this workshop is for you!

Look, it’s not your fault you weren’t taught how to negotiate or have influence during critical conversations. Your parents likely taught you to be resilient, work hard and to be grateful for your job opportunities. They didn’t teach you to unapologetically ask for what you deserve and be willing to walk away from a bad deal. And, as a Womxn of Color, you likely had limited access to educational resources and mentors that could show you the way.

This workshop is designed to jumpstart your confidence and overcome your fears and behavior patterns that stop you from activating your voice, so you can start negotiating like a badass, gain influence and empower relationships in your work and in your business.

Takeaways

  • Learn to identify and manage those self-critical and self-sabotaging voices that prevent you from asking for a raise or moving forward in your career

  • Reflect and get super clear on what’s your incredible value and contribution to your work,

  • Practice speaking about your value, self-advocating and asking for what you want in a safe environment, and in a way that's authentic to you

  • Build friendships and sisterhood with other badass WOCs!
