AI agents are everywhere right now—but not every workflow needs one. This hands-on, instructor-led workshop is designed for professionals who want to understand where AI agents can realistically support work, and how to identify a strong use case for an AI agent without technical expertise. In this three-hour session, you’ll learn what an AI agent is (and isn’t), then follow a structured process to analyze workflows, define goals, and evaluate whether an agent-based approach makes sense—using free versions of ChatGPT or other large language models.
Understand what AI agents are—and where they actually make sense
Learn how AI agents differ from other AI tools, what types of problems they’re suited for, and where they’re often misapplied.
Identify and evaluate a strong first use case
Analyze workflows, define clear goals, and assess whether an AI agent approach is appropriate—without needing to design or build anything.
Communicate an AI agent use case clearly and responsibly
Develop a defensible use case you can explain to stakeholders or technical teams, grounded in real needs, constraints, and outcomes.
