About this event

1 Million Cups is a free, national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee.

1871 will be hosting the first 1 Million Cups meeting in Chicago. We are looking for 2 startups to give a six-minute presentation about their company and product, which will be followed by a 20-minute question and answer session with the audience. The intention of the program is to provide feedback and growth opportunities in a supportive, neutral environment.

We are looking for startups who would be interesting in participating in this exciting new program. If you’re interested, please email programming@1871.com with your name, company name, a description of your company, and what your company is trying to accomplish. We will follow up with a more formal application once we receive your initial response.
