Our Partnership in Bahrain with Tamkeen
Bahrain’s Labour Fund (Tamkeen) was established in 2006 and tasked with the responsibility of empowering Bahrainis to become employees of choice and enabling the private sector to become the key engine of economic growth, to serve the purpose of achieving sustainable economic development in Bahrain.
Tamkeen brings partners from the private sector together with other key government players within the Team Bahrain ecosystem to drive the vision for the Kingdom forward. We’re honored to be one of those partners and have enjoyed a positive—and impactful—partnership to date.
Also important to note—one of the biggest benefits of this partnership is that anyone 18 years and older who’s a Bahraini citizen is eligible for tuition fee support for any of our courses through GA and Tamkeen.
Our Existing Programs and Successful Outcomes
Our existing programs—tech bootcamps in software engineering, data, and UX design—have had a high positive outcome rate. To date, Bahraini talent have reported more than an 80% positive outcome rate for graduates within six months since graduating, which includes job opportunities, freelance work, promotions, and starting a business.
Our outcomes are due in large part to our strategic partnerships with well-known organizations, including more than 80 Bahraini hiring partners. These positive outcomes demonstrate our ability to help Bahrainis—even those with no tech background—overcome challenges and secure or advance employment within the tech industry.
Introducing Our New Part-Time Bootcamps and Apprenticeship Programs
Along with our proven full-time tech courses in software engineering, data analytics, data science, and UX design, we’re excited to launch new part-time bootcamp programs in software engineering and data analytics.
And for those with one to two years of academic or work experience in programming, we’ve also launched new apprenticeship options in software engineering and Java development.
Our new part-time bootcamp programs and apprenticeships are specially designed for learners already in the workforce.
With our new part-time Software Engineering Bootcamp and Data Analytics Bootcamp, you get:
- Beginner-friendly programs with no prerequisites
- Foundational skills to become an in-demand problem-solver and be job-ready for a role in any industry
- 24 weeks of learning with approximately 18 hours of commitment per week
- The same expert instructors and dedicated career coaching and support as our full-time bootcamps
And with our new Software Engineering Apprenticeship and Java Development Apprenticeship programs, you get:
- A deep dive into specialized skills to enhance your current career
- 4 units covered over a year-long program
- 40 hours of live, instructor-led sessions plus 30 hours of additional commitment per unit
- Expert instructors and dedicated career coaching and support
