Career Tarotscopes for March 2023

By

Rebecca Szymczak, aka Cardsy B, author of The Saturn Diaries and tarot reader to the stars, consulted her cards and has tips for which signs should dream bigger than ever with the deep waters of Pisces and which signs should use this month’s full moon in Virgo to get their feet back on the ground. She also has some insight into career shifts coming in where you may least expect them.

As we enter March, Pisces season is already bringing multiple waves of change our way. If the end of February felt emotional and maybe even a little anxiety-ridden, more tools are now showing up as Saturn enters Pisces on March 7th. Saturn brings tangible, how-to steps to help us move forward with dreams we felt drawn to explore at the end of last month. On the same day, we have the full moon in Virgo wrapping up a six-month cycle from August 2022 to the present. This powerful moon provides additional inspiration and discipline to move forward with desired initiatives in a more grounded manner. The end of the month also welcomes the spring equinox on March 20th, allowing us to receive more light – physically and figuratively- as we move into spring.

Whatever your sign, there are plenty of opportunities — plus a few temptations to watch out for this month, so read on to see what the cards have in store.

Sign: Aries/ Aries Rising (March 21 to April 19)

Card: Page of Wands

Aries often thrive in spring and summer, and this month, which holds the spring equinox, is no exception. The Page of Wands is working her fiery energy to heighten inspiration in an area you may have been uncertain of up until this point. Use that fire to move forward with confidence this month. This could look like using that Page of Wands spark to initiate a conversation with a manager about additional responsibilities or new project ideas you’ve been organizing behind the scenes.

Highlight: Cool Customer

Page of Wands uses her ruling elements of earth and fire to keep you grounded as you move forward with a new passion project or course of action. This keeps your plans attainable, allowing the necessary pieces to fall into place.

Heads Up: Patience is a Virtue

For Aries that are often ready to charge into battle at the slightest trigger, The Page of Wands reminds you to ground yourself first, take a deep breath, and then use that heat to spring into action.

Mantra: Who run the world? – Beyonce

Taurus/ Taurus Rising (April 20 to May 20)

Card: King of Pentacles

The King of Pentacles brings in a flow of abundance this month. Look for this in an increase in pay, an unexpected work trip to a desirable location, or potentially, a new job offer or client.

Highlight: Treat Yo Self

King of Pentacles brings in the means and the energy to enjoy a little decadence this month without it seeming like a sacrifice or colossal effort to obtain.

Heads Up: Haters Gonna Hate

This month’s gift of ease and abundance for Tauruses can incite the jealousy of those around you. Just enjoy your good karma, and don’t take on their negative vibes.

Mantra: I’m on top of the world.  – Imagine Dragons

Gemini/ Gemini Rising (May 21 to June 20)

Card: The Lovers

The Lovers is ruled by Gemini and is a reminder that you are in your element this month. You are coming into a period of alignment where personal and work partnerships are strengthening mutual recognition and admiration. Think massive kudos from co-workers and team projects moving more efficiently than ever.

Highlight: Natural High

This month’s increase in communication and collaboration (two of your favorite things) boosts your energy more than downing multiple morning iced lattes.

Heads Up: It’s Actually All You

Geminis can tend to be hyper-critical – especially of themselves – you may credit this month’s energy high to outside people or circumstances. Give yourself the accolades you deserve. You attracted these awesome energies; now enjoy them.

Mantra: I got that sunshine in my pocket. – Justin Timberlake

Cancer/ Cancer Rising (June 21 to July 22)

Card: Five of Cups

Though you’re moving through your home element of water in Pisces season this month, you may feel slightly impatient for things to start going your way. The 5 of Cups is a reminder that you may be focusing a little too much on the things that are stressing you out on the work front and forgetting all the great stuff that’s already in place.

Highlight: Priority Shift

This month’s full moon on March 7th clarifies how much support and respect you have around you, causing you to focus on your recent successes and allowing more wins to come your way as we move towards the middle of the month.

Heads Up: Eeyore Syndrome

The 5 of Cups reminds you to pull yourself out of a gloomy Eeyore funk by changing your point of focus.

Mantra: Shake it off. – Taylor Swift

Leo/ Leo Rising (July 23 to August 22)

Card: Ace of Pentacles

Leos are known for being manifesters, and this month is yet another example. The Ace of Pentacles brings in a revenue source that will be a fun and welcome opportunity. This could be a side hustle or an additional project at work that plays even more to your passions and playful side.

Highlight: In the Zone

Once this opportunity presents itself, your fiery nature ignites and attracts even more abundance throughout the month.

Heads Up: Hold off on the PSA

Leos tend to get very excited about their successes. The Ace of Pentacles reminds you to kindle this flame yourself for a bit before you make a big announcement.

Mantra: All I do is win. – DJ Khaled

Virgo/ Virgo Rising (August 23 to September 22)

Card: The Tower

Virgos tend to be people pleasers, and this month Pisces’ intuitive energy and your card pull of The Tower allow you to release any situations or interactions that haven’t been in your highest interest.

Highlight: Fresh and Clean

The Tower card is a gift, especially to Virgos, who love a clean environment. Think of the Tower as the universe’s energetic maid service, giving you an immaculate new foundation to enjoy the rest of the spring.

Heads Up: Change is a Good Thing

The Tower can push you to release things that you knew deep down were not good for you. You may not feel ready to say goodbye but trust the universe. She’s clearing space for something so much better.

Mantra: Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes. – David Bowie

Libra/ Libra Rising (September 23 to October 22)

Card: Ten of Cups

Libras crave connection and harmony, and March is serving that on a silver platter. If you’re already on a team or in a collaboration you love, things are progressing to the next level. If you are seeking a new opportunity, your inbox will be on fire. You’ll be mingling with some amazing peeps this month that have the potential to open big doors for you.

Highlight: Ray of Light

Ten of Cups comes in like a hug from the universe. The spring equinox on March 20th boosts not just your Vitamin D but also your work and personal life.

Heads Up: Stay Present

The rainbow that will shortly fade with time appears in the background of the Ten of Cups card. This reminds us to stay present and grateful, i.e. stop Instagraming photos of the party and be at the party. You might realize there are important conversations to be had and connections to be made.

Mantra: Twenty four karat magic in the air. – Bruno Mars

Scorpio/ Scorpio Rising (October 23 to November 21)

Card: Four of Cups

March brings in an opportunity that, though good on paper, isn’t necessarily the best thing for you at this time. The Four of Cups reminds you to trust your intuition and say no or at least negotiate the offer on your terms.

Highlight: In Demand

The Four of Cups makes you feel incredibly popular. You may have more invitations and offers than you can keep up with this month: good problems to have.

Heads Up: Don’t Fight Your Instincts

The key to this card is remembering: that which is for you cannot go by you. If it’s meant to be and you feel hesitant, it could be timing. And if that’s the case, it will come back around when it’s in alignment with you.

Mantra: Don’t go for second best, baby. – Madonna

Sagittarius/ Sagittarius Rising (November 22 to December 23)

Card: Page of Swords

Sagittarians are notoriously impatient, and this month will serve you up some of that fast-paced action you crave. If you’ve been stuck on a project or in a rut at work, the Page of Swords will launch you back into action.

Highlight: Superhero Status

The Page of Swords comes in with clarity and speed, reminding you what your superpowers are and how to use them for maximum impact.

Heads Up: Burn-out Warning

Though the Page of Swords has you on the ready, take care of yourself. Allow time for some much-needed rest and self-care, or you may find yourself crashing by my month’s end.

Mantra: Don’t call it a come back – LL Cool J

Capricorn/ Capricorn Rising (December 22 to January 19)

Card: Two of Cups

Capricorns tend to prefer rolling solo, both personally and professionally. The Two of Cups brings in an unexpected and beneficial collaborator this month.

Highlight: Balancing Act

Even if you didn’t necessarily feel you needed help from a colleague or new collaborator, this person brings in some much-needed balance. Workaholic Caps often crave a fun-loving partner in crime. This new partnership helps you take time out for laughs and lighter moments this month.

Heads Up: It’s Ok to Let Your Guard Down

Two of Cups reminds you of balance’s importance in giving and receiving. Highly guarded Capricorns can often struggle to receive this generous energy, but we promise – it’s worth letting in.

Mantra: Come Together – The Beatles

Aquarius/ Aquarius Rising (January 20 to February 18)

Card: The Empress

If last month was about introspection and figuring out what you want, March helps Aquarians bring those things to the world. The Empress is the strong mother card, birthing the things we’ve been creating behind the scenes to the universe.

Highlight: The Big Reveal

Aquarians often prefer to start many things at once and don’t like sharing them until deemed “ready.” The Empress brings a big boost of confidence to share more freely this month.

Heads Up: It’s Ok if Not’s Perfect

The Empress is the gentle mama who reminds you not to be too hard on yourself. Life is constantly evolving, and indeed everything is a work in progress. March is a time to celebrate how far you’ve come with this.

Mantra: Change the voices in your head, Make them like you instead

– Pink

Pisces/ Pisces Rising (February 19 to March 20)

Card: The Knight of Wands

March is going to be a spicy, fun birthday month, Pisces. The Knight of Wands ignites your charismatic, sassy side that you often keep in check. Let it fly because this will unleash some big ideas and inspire those around you.

Highlight: Fanfare

As you embrace your Knight of Wands charm this month, you attract admirers of both your work and you.

Heads Up: Ego Check

Embrace the passionate, spontaneous vibes this month but remember to stay true to your intuitive Pisces nature. Most importantly, don’t let all the attention go to your head.

Mantra: I like it like that

– Cardi B
