Zakk is the Team Lead for GA's Software Engineering Immersive in DC, which means he manages the program and leads instruction. Prior to joining GA full-time, he taught the part-time JavaScript class while working as a developer at an Integrated Communications agency. Before that, he worked at a creative design agency and a start up. He has learned a lot by working across different parts of the field and loves sharing what he's learned with students. He loves coding, it's both a profession and a hobby for him. When he isn't teaching, he's working on a side project, learning something new, or playing with his puppy, Sadie.
In recognition of his exemplary service in the classroom, Zakk has been selected as a member of General Assembly's Distinguished Faculty program.
