Orlando
Yndira is passionate about communicating the intersection of public policy, corporate initiatives, and Latin America. She has 15 years of experience developing public relations and public affairs strategies for multinational clients in the U.S. and in Latin America.
She is currently a director at the Council of the Americas (COA), the leading international business organization that promotes prosperity, democracy, and greater integration in the Western Hemisphere. Based in COA’s Miami office, she manages corporate relations with leading multinationals and directs public and private programs with business and policy leaders.
Prior to joining COA, Yndira held senior roles at three global strategic communications and public affairs firms. Most recently, she was a director at LLORENTE & CUENCA (LLYC)’s USA and Latin America Hub in Miami, leading teams and multinational accounts in diverse sectors including airlines, technology, and multinational organizations. In her previous role, she was a senior associate in the Public Affairs and Crisis practice at Burson-Marsteller.
She began her career at the Organization of American States (OAS) in Washington, D.C. where she was a program specialist in the Secretariat for Political Affairs’ Department for Electoral Cooperation and Observation.
Yndira is a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She has also completed executive education coursework at the ESIC Business & Marketing School in Madrid, Spain.
