As a UX Designer & Researcher, Yelena Nakhimovsky sees herself as an enabler. She works closely with developers, product owners, other UXers, and end-users, moving from ideas to prototypes to products, applying UX methods along the way. She also gives back to the UX community, through workshops & talks, and as a mentor.
At EchoUser, she coaches and works with startups of all stages. Prior to EchoUser, she was at Tendril, applying UX Metrics, as well as behavioral research findings & persuasive design elements to products around energy conservation. Before that, she was at Google, working on Google Maps for Mobile, Google Mobile Ads, 1-800-GOOG-411 & early versions of Google Search for high-end phones.
Yelena has an MS in HCI from Georgia Tech, and a BA in Media Arts & Sciences from Wellesley College.
