Yannis has a diverse academic background, ranging from Electrical Engineering and Computer Science to Sustainable Energy and Finance. He started his professional career in the energy trading space, where he delved into building AI-based trading strategies. He then moved on to Amazon to design a rich variety of business-oriented ML solutions that ensure the best experience for the millions of Amazon's EU customers. In accordance to his studies and interests, he is becoming more involved in sustainability-related projects that support Amazon's climate pledge and mission for a green future.
