Xavier has 4 years of experience working with data, starting from research scholarships about AI to industry work in spaces like fraud detection, automotive industry and currently working in the hospitality domain with HiJiffy. He received a master's degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the University of Porto, with time abroad at the Technical University of Munich. Xavier has published a few papers about machine learning and besides a passion for data and AI, he is a devoted martial arts practitioner.
