William Sutton

DSI Instructor, General Assembly

Boston

Will got into data science originally in insurance, building backroom risk models and customer-facing software for scenario projections. And has taken on a broader view of the field by joining local nonprofits for a mapping project, and local hackerspaces to explore digital biology and electronics. Currently he's most interested in how computer vision could assist us to perform simple tasks at home and at work.

When he's not coding, he likes to use both sides of his brain, playing the piano and chess. Or letting his mind go totally blank at one of our beautiful National Parks.
