Wanting received her BA at Peking University, an LLM at the Boston University School of Law, and MESc at the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. She co-founded US-China forum while still studying at Yale. Under her leadership, the first junzi kitchen opened on Yale Campus in 2015. A next-generation Chinese fast-casual concept positioned to make Chinese food an everyday experience for the many, junzi now owns and operates three restaurants in Morningside Heights, Greenwich Village and Bryant Park.
