Throughout her career, Vanessa has been obsessed with three things: cultures, connections, and communities. She continually looks both outward and inward to foster inspiration, forge creative communities and encourage risk-taking, curiosity and bold action.

It is with this mindset that Vanessa has applied to her career resulting in a non-linear but dynamic career.

Over the course of the last 12+ years Vanessa has worked in-house at some iconic American companies which have spanned from Los Angeles, to New York and London. For nearly 10 years she worked in house at Mattel, first in branding and packaging and then as the first Lead in Creative and Development Experience. As a member of the Mattel HR team, she defied stereotypes by bringing a creative, human-centered design approach to a traditionally corporate department Following Mattel, Vanessa joined Adobe as a key founding team member who catalysed the launch of the current enterprise marketing events series– Creative Jams, in North America and EMEA. She solely established the program within EMEA where she had the opportunity to work with clients like the BBC, VICE, WPP all whilst splitting her time between London and Los Angeles.

Outside her career Vanessa has been heavily involved in other purpose led communities from AIGA (the professional organisation for design) at a local and national level, Ladies Get Paid and even LA Design Festival. Since the beginning of 2020, Vanessa is now full time in London. She is a beagle owner and has a slight coffee obsession.
