Van Phan is an award winning filmmaker, animator and educator who has worked for Dreamworks, Industrial Light and Magic, Naughty Dog, Blue Sky studios, Sony Imageworks, Zynga and Activision. He taught or has given talks at AAU, CCA, Pratt Institute, Cal Arts, Ringling School of Art and Design, SCAD and Stanford University. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge of animation not only bring characters to life, but to use it to create "WOW" moments in UX. He holds a BA from UCLA and a MFA from University of Southern California and lives in SF.
