Van is an expert in customer experience design and has worked with clients in financial services, telecommunications, higher education, energy and facilities management, not only in CXD but also business growth strategies, operating models, product development and resilience training.
She has a law degree and an MBA and currently lectures undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students at the University of NSW. Van has worked for APRA, Vodafone, Optus and Telstra and has consulted across competition, consumer protection, and consumer experience sectors, advising AGL, Serco, AMP and the University of Sydney among others.
She is an advocate and spokesperson on social infrastructure, and currently sits on the research and ethics committee for SDN Children’s Services. Van has two children. She came to Australia as a refugee, aged eleven months.
