Valerie Shavers gained extensive experience in product development, merchandising, licensing and mobile game development with Paramount Pictures, Fox, Disney Mobile, THQ and Glu Mobile. Most recently, Valerie served as Senior Project Manager at DIRECTV in the Innovation Lab as well as in the UI/UX department at AT&T. Previously at Disney Mobile, Valerie served as the Project Manager on one of Disney's most successful mobile games. "Where's My Water?" not only earned Disney Mobile its first Apple Design award, but the original IP also brought about numerous licensed products ranging from backpacks to plush animals, based on the game characters. From "Where's My Water?" also came, "Where's My Mickey?" and "Where's My Perry?" which is based on the Phineas and Ferb animated show on the Disney Channel.
Valerie is currently contemplating "what's next" for her, in addition to designing her own mobile app ideas.
A native of Southern California, Valerie earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, along with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Southern California (USC). She is also a certified Scrum Master and Product Manager.
