Valerie is the author of the Amazon #1 seller, Happiness as a Second Language and a nationally recognized speaker on the topics of happiness in the workplace and the advancement of women. Her other books include: How Women Can Succeed in the Workplace (Despite Having "Female Brains") and four more in the "…as a Second Language" series. Prior to her current work, Valerie was a securities lawyer, an investment banker, the V.P. of Business Development for two Internet companies, and a screenwriter and film director.
