Optimisation. Usman is currently enrolled for a PhD in Machine Learning. He also holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
As the Head of Data Science at SAI Global, Usman is in-charge of the Strategy Development of Data Science practice globally. Usman has been instrumental in designing & building the organisation’s first Data Science product offering focused on risk assurance thus creating additional revenue stream for the business. Chiefly his focus areas are machine learning model design & build, data engineering & data model architecture, establish data governance principles and building high performing data science teams.
