Tristan is currently a senior product manager at Intuit, where he manages the homepage for Quickbooks Online for Accountants. Previously, he was a product manager at Samsung KNOX, where he built security software for high-security enterprises and classified US government agencies. Prior to his corporate career he founded two startups, one in energy financing and the other in 3D printing technology.
Academically, Tristan studied aerospace engineering at Cornell with a focus in spacecraft design, then went on to get his masters from Dartmouth. Later, he got a MBA from Cornell Tech as part of the inaugural class. He still volunteers with the school, conducting mock interviews and teaching interview technique.
Outside of work, Tristan is a writer. He's self-published three books, and is active in several writing communities, giving feedback and training to people taking their first steps as storytellers. He mostly writes science fiction, but also has a handful of stories based on the particularly colorful moments in his early career. He also enjoys jogging, climbing, and is an avid gamer.
