After moving to San Francisco in 2012, she decided to give the culinary profession a go and has since built a following for her pop-up dinners featuring Malaysian classics like Laksa and Chili Crab. She is still actively popping up every week while crowdfunding to opening her first Malaysian restaurant in San Francisco, named Damansara.
