Tony Strickett has over 15 years of experience in the coffee industry. A licensed Q-grader and experienced roaster, Tony and his wife started First Crop Coffee in 2013. First Crop Coffee is an ethical and sustainable green coffee importing business focusing on transparency and relationship, and in 4 years has become one of the leading specialty coffee importers in Australia. In July 2016 he and his wife opened the first communal roasting space in Melbourne, Maillard Atelier. He has a strong business focus on supporting farmers and roasters by bringing them closer together, sharing the challenges that each side of the industry faces, and building sustainable relationships that are more than just trade deals.
