Todd is a senior marketing strategist at CHIEF, a full-service web design and branding agency located in Dupont Circle, where he specializes in content strategy.
With over thirteen years of journalism, marketing and communications strategy experience, Todd’s background affords him a unique perspective on how and why certain messages resonate with different audiences. He believes that every client has an interesting and unique story to tell — and that the best way to tell it is to state it simply and clearly, without buzzwords or jargon. Over his career, Todd has worked on content strategy and marketing plans for a wide range of public and private sector clients including the Department of Commerce, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, Yale University and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Todd holds a BA in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma, and an MA in Journalism from Boston University.
In this 10-week or 1-week course, students will learn to plan and execute a marketing campaign, acquire and engage users, and quantify a strategy's success.
