Toby is the Director of Operations at Amino Apps. At Amino, Toby oversees hiring, the community and moderation teams, international expansion, legal, and other operational projects. Previously, he worked at Google in Mountain View, doing operations and community management for Google+. Prior to joining Amino, Toby received a JD from Harvard Law School where he focused on transactional work and public policy and a BA from Harvard College. He was born and raised in Providence, RI but loves New York for its dumplings, Brooklyn brownstones, and more dumplings.
Amino builds mobile apps for interest-based communities. It's a chat, forum, blog platform for the hobbies, interests, and fandoms you care about most. Amino currently has over 100 individual apps on topics from Anime to One Direction and Basketball to My Little Pony and tens of thousands of communities in our master app, Amino. We're a 25-person company, based between NYC and Shanghai, changing the way that people interact with their passions.
