Originally hailing from Milwaukee, Tobias Krause has called the Mile High City home for the past 12 years. Krause has been an intricate part of the Two Parts event squad for the last five years, leading events of all kinds. He helped produce the Westword Music Showcase for two years, after which he jumped ship to take on the Underground Music Showcase for the past three years. In January of last year, Krause's employer, Two Parts, purchased the Underground Music Showcase from The Denver Post Community Foundation. Two Parts tapped Krause to be the next Event Director for the festival as it enters its 19th year in Denver for 2019. Outside of Two Parts and the UMS, Krause helps program Fort Greene Bar, does music development with young artists and volunteers with three nonprofits around the city.
