Tiona Langley is a multi-hyphenate creative, producer and Founder of Industry Collective. This year, during the pandemic, she left her job in the entertainment industry to relaunch and run Industry Collective and work as a production consultant. Tiona began her career by writing for social change across genres, from grants for nonprofits dedicated to feeding the homeless, to newsletters on behalf of the Mayor of Orlando, Florida. At the intersection of her skills and interests, Tiona decided to pursue a career in media production and she moved to New York City to work as an associate producer in an ad agency on broadcast and print ads for The Hershey Company. She transitioned to tech when she began working with Google Creative Lab in NYC and helped develop digital, broadcast, print and experiential productions. She decided to delve into entertainment and moved cross-country to Los Angeles to nurture her chops as a creative and development producer in film and television. She worked with and learned from top talent at Universal Pictures and ultimately Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine before leaving the company and subsequently relaunching Industry Collective with her team in July 2020. Tiona is passionate about creating space for the undefined and, along with her team, has expanded the Industry Collective initiative to the East coast through digital outreach, content creation and virtual events.
