Tingzhi is the mastermind behind the beautiful yet functional apparels you see at Love, Bonito. She formally joined the brand in 2019 and has since been spearheading the design team, with a focus on creating thoughtful, customer-centric product lines leveraging on data-driven design insights. With eyes set on raising the bar for local designs, she has since launched new business lines, categories and continues to work on the brand’s unique Asian fit and propriety colour sets.

Tingzhi loved playing dress up since young and had the chance to turn her passion into a career upon graduation from Central Saint Martins, one of the world's top fashion schools.

She felt compelled to bring her experience back home, with dreams to empower females in the region, peers and customers alike, through her designs. Her design philosophy is in balancing the art and science of design, which comes out strongly in the utilitarian pieces that are versatile, timeless and allows for repeat wear.

Prior to joining Love, Bonito, Tingzhi was a designer within the luxury fashion houses of LVMH and Kering Group, working on notable brands like Celine and Alexander McQueen, gaining a first hand insight and deep understanding behind the process of creating true heritage brands that have stood the test of time.
