Tina Lee
Founder/CEO, Mothercoders
Tina is a technology professional and mom of two young daughters who's been sleeping sporadically since 2011. She most recently served as Director of Outreach and Innovation for the California State Controller’s Office, where she headed outreach efforts in Northern California and worked to strengthen the Controller’s relationship with the technology industry.
Prior to joining the State Controller’s Office, Tina served as Director of Innovation and Learning for ZeroDivide Foundation, where she led project teams in providing technology consulting services to philanthropic and non-profit organizations aimed at bridging the digital divide in under-served communities. Tina’s professional experience also includes stints as a management consultant for Accenture and a recruiting manager at Robert Half Technology.
A lifelong San Franciscan, Tina has served on the Mills College Board of Trustees and the Advisory Board of New America Foundation's California Civic Innovation Project.
Tina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political, Legal and Economic Analysis, with an emphasis in Economics, from Mills College, and an MBA from their Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business. In 2010, Tina received her M.A. in Education from Stanford University's Graduate School of Education, where her studies in their Learning, Design & Technology Program focused on how technology can be used to foster civic engagement.
