I am a UX designer from Georgia with a unique sustainable perspective. After cooking in fine dining restaurants for 10 years, the "research and discovery" phase of my career confirmed that I needed to "pivot". This is when I began my UX journey here at General Assembly. My goal is to retain a sense of curiosity as I humbly grow in the industry. I believe that it is crucial for me to constantly iterate myself and my thinking in order to successfully solve any problem. I specialize in visual design but understand the value of intentional thinking and research that validates it.
My hobbies include playing music in a surf rock project called Oceaneater and doing freelance design projects under the same name.
I play soccer and I still love to cook.
