Tim is a data scientist at Uptake, which provides a predictive maintenance platform for construction, rail, and other industries. At Uptake, he works with rail partners to help build analytics for the Industrial Internet space.

Coming from a PhD in computational chemistry, Tim is constantly mindful of how models relate to the real world. His major passions include squeezing insight out of difficult data, playing Bruce Springsteen covers, and continuing on a quest for the perfect pizza dough.
