Ted Rutherford is described as a generator of awesomeness, a proliferator of the fantastical, and a provocateur of goodliness. He is a creative type, an improviser, and an agent for change. Ted is passionate and relishes the opportunity to inspire critical thought, incite laughter, and enlist help in the never-ending search for the answer to the question "how?"
By day, Ted is the Communications Program Director at the Texas Association Against Sexual Assault where he creates and manages content for social and traditional media. By night, Ted is working to make the world a more entertaining, thought-provoking, and engaging place through improvisation and visual design. He is also a typeface junkie who subscribes to the design ethos that less is more.
Ted holds a Masters or Education degree from the University of Montevallo and a Bachelor of Fine Arts – Theatre degree from the University of Mississippi. He is a proud father and husband who spends far too little time playing disc golf. He, however, spends exactly the right amount of time eating breakfast tacos. Ted whole-heartedly believes that improvisation is the ultimate tool for teaching collaboration, creativity, and how to be in the moment.
