Taireez is a Canadian citizen and a Permanent Resident of the USA. She was born in Tanzania, fled as a refugee at the age of 4 to Germany with my family and then became a citizen of Canada. In 2009, she moved to the United States where she has a home base in Vancouver, Washington. She has learned that home is where you hang your hat!
She acquired her Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in International Business and Marketing at the University of Northern British Columbia, where she was also elected as the student representative to the University Senate for International Exchange Programs. In her position, she helped to develop an exchange program to New Zealand and had the opportunity to study at the University of Waikato in Hamilton.
In the last year she has traveled to Chile, Canada and Mexico.
This year she will be living in Saranda, Albania for a few months and then will go on to Brussels, Belgium for a month, where she has been invited to participate on a leadership panel. Her plans for the rest of the year include popping into Portugal before heading back to Merida, Mexico for 6 months.
Currently she is the Vice President of Operations at Govology, a remote position that enables her to work from anywhere in the world.
