A self-described "nomad" Tabetha spent part of her life in small communities in Oklahoma, Florida, and eventually made her way to Washington, DC to study technology and business at GW. After 8 years living in DC building safe and inclusive spaces became an even greater necessity for Tabetha. The summer of 2017 was when Tabetha launched Golden Pineapple in Washington, DC. Her background in information systems and hospitality management fueled her drive to create safe spaces and holistic products that are both affordable and accessible. Utilizing tech Tabetha has grown Golden Pineapple to over a thousand followers that are 70% self identified women and 20% non-binary located primarily in DC.
