Syd is a designer with an obsession for the color black, perfectly-kerned typography, and tackling problems in our ever-evolving digital world. Originally from the East Coast, Syd began his career managing fashion models in New York City. After realizing the model agent life wasn’t for him, he decided to leave the fashion industry and follow his passion for design. He made the trek across the country from Brooklyn to Los Angeles, where he’s now living his best life as a Jr. Experience Designer. Prior to joining Saatchi, Syd worked on various freelance projects ranging from responsive websites, consumer mobile apps, and enterprise platforms. Most notably, he designed and launched a fitness app called FlexIt, which provides users with a-la-carte gym access without memberships, contracts, or commitments. Syd graduated from Parsons The New School for Design with a BBA in Strategic Design & Management. He also holds a Certificate in User Experience from UCLA Extension.
