Sueli Shaw believes that companies can make a difference by leveraging their products, expertise, and business for social impact. Since joining DoorDash in 2018 to lead Social Impact, she's developed many initiatives including programs to highlight and support historically underrepresented merchants, and others like Project DASH, which empowers governments and nonprofits with last-mile delivery capabilities. Her programs have been featured in Fast Company's World Changing Ideas and in COVID-19 issue briefs published by Harvard Law and Policy and Milken Institute. The COVID-19 crisis has further highlighted the need for private sector partnerships with the public and social sectors, and Sueli is grateful to be in a position to help. Before DoorDash, Sueli worked in philanthropy and nonprofit. She lives in Oakland.
