Stephanie spent most of the last decade at Google. She was the Director of Product Management for Social Impact at Google, focused on building innovative technology help people broaden engagement with their community, government and nonprofits. Focus areas range from changing how the world prepares and responds to natural disasters to using data to help cities make evidenced-based decisions. Stephanie was the product lead for Google Wave, a real-time communication and collaboration tool, based in Google's Sydney office. Prior to Sydney she worked in Google's Zurich office, leading the product teams for Google Maps for Europe, Middle East and Africa and Google Transit. She started her time at Google as a product manager for Gmail (in its first year of life) at the headquarters in Mountain View, where she also helped launched the first version of Google Apps.

Stephanie previously worked at Facebook where she led product management for Site Integrity and Trust Engineering, working to ensure Facebook is a safe-space for communication where people use their authentic identities. Prior to Facebook, Stephanie co-founded an ambitious startup that aimed to bring web innovations, technology and transparency to residential energy management and markets. Stephanie also spent six years as a software engineer building operating systems for the Catalyst line of switches at Cisco Systems after the acquisition of a startup she joined called Granite Systems.

Stephanie holds a B.S. Computer Systems Engineering, an M.S.E.E. from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Stephanie loves traveling (71 countries and counting) and diving with sharks.
