In 2016, Stella founded Equallet. After recognizing the enormous power of women ($9 trillion of the $11 trillion annual US consumer spend) and seeing the number of women-owned businesses starting at a rate of 2x that of men, Stella decided to explore how to connect the dots. Quickly realizing that no comprehensive database of women-owned businesses exists for consumers to transact with, she got to work building one. Equallet launches its beta in May 2017.
